Folding Guardrail

HAS Folding Guardrail is a collapsible free-standing guardrail system that can be discretely lowered and stored out of site when safe rooftop access is not required.

The installation of free standing guardrail is an economic means of preventing falls from edges or openings. HAS Folding Guardrail has the added benefit of allowing the guardrail to be folded down out of sight when not in use. Many architects will applaud this feature as it does not spoil the lines of the building, unlike permanently fixed systems.

A simple one way hinge is reached by unscrewing a locking bolt, lifting the sleeve and folding of the guard rail. This hinge means that the guard rail can only be folded inwards only onto the roof preventing it from folding outwards.

The system complies with requirements of the HSE Specialist Inspectors Report 15 -1988 (now time expired), and also supports guidance contained in HS/G-33 health & Safety in Roof work, 1988.
