Topshield is a Top fix guardrail system that can be designed to fit all types of trapezoidal roof sheets. All base plates are riveted to the roof structure with self waterproofing fixings that remove the requirement for unnecessary post installation waterproofing.
This system allows the direct attachment of a protective guard rail to a profile metal sheet roof structure with a pitch of up to 10°. A waterproof seal is supplied to ensure against wind or weather, protecting the integrity of the roof, and would be fitted with stitching screws or rivets. The ssytem complies with the requirements of the HSE Specialist Inspectors Report 15 -1988 (now time expired), and also supports guidance contained in HS/G-33 health & Safety in Roof work, 1988. |
