HASL employees adapted a floor saw to enable it to be used by employing rope access techniques to safely cut through the concrete section.  Once the section was cut it could be safely lowered to the ground using the mobile crane.  There were around 1000 1 tonne cruciform sections to be removed over a period of 4 months.  This contract was completed on time and within budget on the tallest building in county Cork, Ireland.
