The Work at Height regulations 2005 (WAHR 2005) require that whenever a roof or raised area that has to be accessed, this access must be undertaken in a safe and planned manner. Whatever your access needs or problems, a vertical ladder can be designed to give you safe and secure access to any raised areas while complying with all Work at Height Directives.
All vertical ladders should be designed, manufactured and installed to meet current British Standard (BS 4211:2005) with all vertical ladders that can be constructed with a safety cage. Should your building not allow for a hooped / safety cage arrangement then a fall arrest system should be fitted. Either option satisfies all Work at Height Directives and can be modified to suit any situation.
Vertical ladders with safety cages can be manufactured to your specifications with different materials and finishes available including galvanised steel, stainless steel, powder coated, aluminium and GRP.
